Talk to Siegward in the well. Doing the points above should trigger the armour to be available by Patches and should allow you to send him out to find Greirat. To save Greirat from Irithyll, you have to save Siegward from the well outside the Church before the Cathedral of the Deep by buying his armor from Patches and giving it to him. yes this, greirat will return after beating any boss, but going into irithyl dungeon after you have talked to siegward by the fireplace will load siegward into that area dooming greirat to die. so here is a rundown of what to do. 1:give friendly onion boy his armor in the well (buy it from patches first he has it). 2: send greirat out for lootBefore sending Greirat to pillage Irythill, I ran into Patches and got him to stay at Firelink, saved Siegward and gave him his armor whilst buying another set off of Patches (NG+).
