2024 Lincoln sp 125 plus problems

Nov 1, 2008 · I have an SP135+, a slightly newer version of the 125+. It usually feeds OK but every once in a while it will go in fits and starts. The problem is usually too much pressure on the nut (maybe a wing nut) that holds the wire spool in place. But check the whole feed path - only takes a minute or two. . Iowa men

Rick get the sp-135 plus.Its a great little welder.With .023 stainless wire,and the right gas the little lincoln will spray arc.Thats pretty impressive performance.I just traded my little miller 130xp in on a sp-175 plus its a great little welder also.Spend the extra at the welding store,because you will get support if needed.That could make up the difference even if you bought a 135 tapped ....
